host family treated us very well. it had central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave though we didn't use it. could see garden from the window. the apartment was adjacent to the center of portomarin and plaza and camino path and central square, magnificent location overall.

Joel, the owner, was incredibly attentive to our needs. the apartment had two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a well-equipped kitchen and living room. Although we only stayed for one night, we wished we had more time to explore the stunning countryside surrounding the property. the highlight was the lovely private garden, perfect for relaxing. Portohouse offers exceptional value for Camino walkers. Highly recommended for small groups!

Absolutely amazing experience! The property is stunningly beautiful with cozy furniture and a lush green garden. The apartment was sparkling clean and had a lovely bathroom. The owners even left snacks, coffee, and tea for us. The fully equipped kitchen was a definite bonus. On top of that, the location was perfect, just a short walk to the plaza and the Camino path.

That we had to walk a few extra minutes uphill to reach the place, but it was really just a minor inconvenience considering all the positives. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Portomarin.

Loved having the whole apartment to myself, especially the garden and terrace. The airport is nearby, in case I feel like taking a spontaneous vacation. Cultural highlights like Domus del Mitreo and Museo Provincial are just a short distance away. Managed by a "private host" - how exclusive!

We stayed at Portohouse for a few nights during our Camino walk and it was perfect. The spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath layout was great, especially having the second bathroom. The kitchen and living room were well-equipped, although we didn't use them. The patio area was a nice addition. The location, just a few blocks from the center, was convenient and the value for the price was exceptional. We highly recommend Portohouse for anyone walking the Camino.

There were a few issues with the laundry facilities, such as the washer shutting off unexpectedly and difficulty in unlocking the door. This caused inconvenience and the clothes did not dry properly despite multiple attempts.
